About the Group

Get support for yourself and your teen/adult trans clients with a trans therapist who has deep ties to the community and has worked in trans mental health for nearly a decade. I go above and beyond simply having in-depth clinical experience in working with trans people—I am also a journalist, presenter, and advocate who has worked to inform audiences and fight for trans equality.

  • Consultation on clinical questions

  • Staying up to date on best practices and emergent issues in working with trans clients

  • Support each other in processing stress from political attacks on trans people and their therapists

  • Ongoing professional development through discussion of readings, videos, research, and other media

About the Facilitator

As a group facilitator, I strive to provide a friendly, responsive environment that both offers a useful container for consultation and enough flexibility to evolve with the group’s needs. My consultation group is one where clinicians can form lasting ties and co-create an ongoing space for learning, professional development, stress relief, and community support.

  • Nearly a decade working with trans mental health

  • Years of presenting on clinical work with trans clients at conferences, schools, businesses, and therapist groups

  • Experience with trauma, suicidality, diagnoses, letters, gender exploration, transitions

  • Years of in-depth journalism and other writing covering trans culture and mental health

  • In-depth experience with group facilitation

  • Experience with 1:1 consultation for clinicians
